3x Thursday

1. Do you own your house, or do you rent? If you rent, why?
Own
2. Weather you rent or not, do you believe that you should keep your residence up? Why/Why not? What do you do for upkeep?
Yes. That way it makes the neighborhood look better. I mow the grass and put tasteful decorations out in the yard.
3. Do you clean regularly (make sure you include your definition of 'regularly')? How often? Why?
Not really. I clean about 4 times a year. The rest of the time I just pick up about once a week. Give or take 2 weeks. :)
Bonus Question for Comments: Do you clean, or do you have a cleaning person? If you clean yourself, would you hire a cleaning person if you could? Why/Why not?
I clean myself. I don't think that I would hire a cleaning person. It is bad enough letting my friends see how much of a slob I can be, I wouldn't want a complete stranger to see the real me. *chuckle*

3x Thursday: 12/16/y2k+4: New pets
1.How do you feel about having a new pet (or a pet at all, if you don't have one already)?
I love them!!! :)
2. What is the adjustment period like when a new pet comes around?
It is fun. We get to giggle at them and watch them investigate. :)
3. If you have other animals, how do they take the new pet?
Not well at first. But, they get used to each other. :)
Bonus Question for Comments: When choosing a cat or a dog: baby (kitten/puppy) or full-grown? Why?
I usually like baby. It makes it easier for our other animals to adopt to something small. It also isn't set to someone else's personality. We are it's first parents. :)

1. What do you like most about Christmas?
Spending time with my family

December 12th, 2004
Trigger #102: Special Moment

I want you to think back now (doing this alot lately huh? lol) and try to remember a special moment in your life that touched your heart! Something that finally hit you and you finally GOT IT!!!!! Something clicked inside your brain and your heart and you finally understood what everyone had been telling you. Remember this time and write about it. You may have to think about it for a few minutes to remember but I know everyone has had these kind of moments at one time or another, especially during childhood.

This one was EASY!!! :)
The day that I remember that touched my life and my heart was December 9, 1991. I even remember the date. :) My best friend at the time and I were having a falling out of sorts. We were arguing and not really talking or doing anything with each other. Which in and of itself amazed the rest of our friends because we were inseperable. There were bets on how long it would be before we slept with each other. :)
So, that night, we were fighting before I went to work. And, I drove by her house after I got off of work, but since it was so late I didn't stop. I logged on from a computer lab at campus and found out that she was on. Our fight started right back up with her asking why I didn't stop. Well, we started typing back and forth. "Saying" things that we really didn't mean just to hurt each other, because we were hurting ourselves. Then my best friend said, "You probably don't want to hear this, but I love you." I stopped dead. About 10 minutes later she typed with like, "Hello?". I was like what did you say?? Why are we fighting then?? I love you, too!! :)
We have been together ever since. Very happily married. Occassionally she isn't very happy with me. But, I know that she loves me, because occassionally I am not happy with me!!! :P

I love you, Cuddles

3. Are you seeing someone that shares your sexual preference at the moment?
Actually, no. I like women and my wife likes men. :)
4. What do you think of people that have a different sexuality than yours?
*shrug* I don't know that they are really any different than I am.
5. Lastly, if you could change your sexuality, would you?

1.During the busy week, what do you do to relax?
hug my wife. :)
2. Are you ever just *so* busy that if you don't take a break, you'll explode? How do you handle situations like that?
not really. I get a little flustered if to many things happen at once, I just get things done one after another. That is all that you can do. You can't do more than you are capable of doing. :)
3. How do you keep yourself from becoming overwhelmed? What happpens when you *do* become overwhelmed? How do you calm yourself down?
take a deep breath. I just walk a little faster. I come home and hug my wife. :)

"I awoke this morning with devout thanksgiving for my friends, the old and the new." -Ralph Waldo Emerson

1) How do you cook your turkey? (Stuffing, spices, cooking bag, etcetera)
I got this big turkey pan and I baste it every 30 minutes. I suggest using the brand "jennie-o" instead of Butterball. It tends to make a much juicier bird. :)
2) What is your favorite Thanksgiving dessert?
Pumpkin Pie with TONS of cool whip. :)
3) What are you doing this year for Thanksgiving?
Spending it with immediate family. :)
4) Do you have any family traditions at Thanksgiving?
TURKEY!!! :)

Week 30 - Reality TV
I know we'd done this before but since all the comments were lost somewhere along the line I think we'll do it again! LOL Reality TV has become all the rage, and love it or hate it there's no sign it's going to be leaving anytime soon. From MTV's "The Real World", Ozzy's life, an Australian adventure for some city girls to win some guy's affections, to 12 men trying to become the perfect lady... They've tried to out do each other over and over again. How real is reality TV? I doubt anyone will ever know but let's talk about it anyway! :)

1. Do you watch reality shows? Which ones?
I watched parts of the bachelor in its first or second season. I do watch He's a Lady though. :)
2. What's your favorite all time reality show?
He's a Lady
3. Do you feel "reality" shows are real or are they faked?
I think that they are faked for the most part. They purposely pick people that shouldn't get along.
~Bonus~ If your life was a reality show what would it be called? What would be the story line that kept people coming back?
Is he Crazy??? What will he do this week?? :)
~Bonus 2~ If you could create a reality show of your choosing what would it be about?
What career are they destined for. Make macho men do nursing and petite debutantes do construction work. *evil laughter*

Saturday 8

saturday-8 :: BOO!

1. happy hallowe'en! did you celebrate hallowe'en as a child?
YES!!!!
2. did you know that origins of hallowe'en, or did you just go along with it?
I was told that it was called "All Hallows Eve" and made to think that it was just the day before all Saint's day. :)
3. many 'christians' refuse to celebrate hallowe'en because they feel it is "satan's holiday." what is your feeling on that?
Now that I am older and know the origins of Halloween, I can safely say that it is not satan's holiday because satan is a Christian concept. And, the origins of Halloween comes from before Christianity. Christianity just adopted Halloween so that the pagan religions that they were trying to convert would accept them better.
4. as an adult, do you ever dress up for hallowe'en?
OF course!!!! Don't you???
5. do you give out candy every year to trick or treaters, or do you turn off your lights and pretend you're not home?
Give out candy. This is a fun day for kids of all ages. Besides someone has to do it to scare away all the bad hobgoblins and ghosts!!! :P
6. what's the best hallowe'en costume you've ever had? tell us about it.
Probably the one that I wore when I was working at McDonald's. Halloween was a weekday and I was working 7am-4pm. I was supposed to be the production manager, but the store manager like my costume so much she put me in drive through where people in drive through could see me as well as the people on front counter. Now this was in my younger days, where I didn't have my tummy. I put on a black long sleeve shirt to cover my hair, over that I had on my wife's sundress. It was pink with a floral motif on it. I had on 3 pairs of panty hose to hide my furry legs. My wife made me wear a bra and she stuffed it so it looked natural, and put my make up on. And, for the hair, my mother-in-law had this really nice long haired red wig which she let me wear. :)
I walked in and the store manager started poking my boobs and asking if they were real. The maintenance man about tackled her to make her stop because he thought that I was a real woman. I was told by numerous other women that I worked with at the time to not ever dress up like that again because I looked better than they did. And, the thing that got me the best was I was being hit on in drive through by all these guys. One of the ones that hit on me the hardest, when I handed him his food he looked up at me and got this look like he was going to crap his pants. His mouth hung open for a second and his eyes got huge. The next words out of his mouth were, "Man, you got some guts." By this time, all the guys in the car had taken a good look at me and realized that they were hitting on a guy and started laughing. I just said, "Thank you very much, and have a Happy Halloween." That was the busiest day we had for a long time between the hours of 2 and 4. All these guys kept on coming through and hitting on me. I think I turned into a frat hazing or something. :P

7. what's the best hallowe'en costume you've ever seen, either on the 'net, on TV/movies or in real life?
Any year on Roseanne. :)
8. do you have a hard time NOT eating the hallowe'en candy before you give it out? ;)
I used to...but lately candy hasn't had the same appeal. *shrug*
see you next week! be safe!

Saturday Slant

Naughty Little Impulse
What is your naughty little impulse never acted upon? Ever wanted to kiss your boss? Do you often feel like telling your mother-in-law that she’s a self-centered, controlling witch—over Thanksgiving Dinner? Do you sometimes feel the compulsion to pick up your man’s dirty socks, which are constantly strewn about the floor irresponsibly, and ball it into his sleeping, snore-opened mouth? Ever wanted to steal something just for the thrill of it? Or is your impulse more along the lines of seducing that hunk from the mail room? Tell us about some naughty impulse you’ve had—or have frequently—and the circumstances surrounding it. This is a classic Saturday Slant revisited from 42 weeks ago.

I saw this one and really wanted to answer it because of the line about telling your mother-in-law off over Thanksgiving dinner. I like my mother-in-law, and I hate confrontation, so I wouldn't do this, but a friend of mine found out that her younger sister met this guy over the internet and was going to marry him like 3 months later without ever meeting him in person. She went home for Thanksgiving and before she went she kept on saying, "I'm going to ask for the cranberry sauce to be passed and just lay into her." Well her sister brought her fiance to dinner, so my friend wasn't going to make a scene in front of them. She had just decided to let it go when low and behold, her sister asked her to pass the cranberry sauce. She just couldn't let that go. It was like a sign!!! *cackle*

But, I didn't think that there were any naughty little impulses that I never acted up. And, when I told my wife this, she snickered and said, "You are a naughty little impulse." I am not sure what that means, but then one look at her and I get all these great ideas about what we could be doing right now. *lecherous smile*

3x Thursday

1.Are you registered to vote? Why/why not? If you are registered, will you actually go vote this year?
I think so. I don't think that I have to reregister again. The missus was going to do that. :)
I am going to vote. There are a couple of issues in my area that I would like a say in. They want to put the 6th graders in with the 7th and 8th graders and close another school in our area because of budget crisis. I say instead of closing the schools give the teachers who are making upwards of 45,000 a year and principals that are making upwards of 60,000 a year a pay cut. I mean yeah great awesome they are teaching. But, I am in the nursing field. A Registered Nurse at a Nursing home, which should be the highest pay for a nurse, is only making 25000-35000 a year. Speaking of nurses, there is like one nurse for both of the junior highs and the ninth grade center. She moves through all three. :(

2. Many people feel this particular election is very important this time around. Do you know why? Do you agree with it?
I don't really know why it is more important than any other time. I agree that we need to tell Mr. Bush that we weren't happy with the way he ran things. :)
3. Do you think that the citizens of this country actually have a say-so in what goes on, or do you think the government just wants us to think we do? We're going on 230 years of this particular form of running the government....does it work?
I think that citizens have a say so on the community and state level and a little bit on country level. But, there are so many opinions on the country level that not everyone can get their way. :)
I think it works just fine. How many other countries can say that their governments are working the way that they had envisioned. :)

Bonus Question for Comments: If you could reform one aspect of our election system, what would it be?
I would get rid of the electoral college. I mean living in Kansas there is no reason for me to vote for a president because the electoral college ALWAYS votes for a Republican. Bob Dole who was born and raised in Kansas, didn't stop in Kansas. Well, he did, but only in the very small town he was born in. :)

Sunday Brainstorm

Today is just for fun due to the upcoming holiday. Let's see how you all feel about ......all things evil!

October 24th, 2004
Trigger #66: All Things Evil?

1. Are you supersticious? If so, about what? If not, why?
Not really, but probably about some things. Isn't everyone. :)
2. Are you afraid of black cats? Why or why not?
Nope. I love them!!! They got more character. :)
3. Have you ever practiced withcraft or do you know someone who has or is practicing witchcraft?
I don't practice or know anyone at the moment that really does. I have used some of the spells. More like the luck charms than anything else. Never had an inclination to change something drastically, but a little push never hurt. :)
4. Do you believe in vampires? Why or why not?
I didn't until I read a book called, "Vampires Among Us". It explained some different ways that vampires can exist. Without the Hollywood hype. I don't believe in Hollywood's vampires.
5. Do you believe that someone could practice voodoo or cast spells on people affectively? Why or why not?
Yes. But, they need to really believe in what they are doing. :)
6. Do you believe in ghosts or the afterlife? Why or why not?
Yes. I believe that spirit has to go somewhere. We are all energy. And, energy never stops.
7. Do you believe in a whole different dimension where the dead walk among the living? Why or why not?
I believe that the dead walk among the living here. I believe that there are some people more open to the different layers of the world. But, if you are on the mortal layer, you can only see the layer right next to it. Some people might be able to see the layer after that, but I think it would be to cloudy. And, no I don't believe in most of those fortune tellers. :)
8. Do you believe in God, heaven and/or hell? Why or why not?
I don't disbelieve in God. But, the whole heaven and hell concept just doesn't mesh well. I mean I was raised Catholic and taught that if you are good then you will go to heaven. And, if you are bad then you go to hell. But, God is all forgiving. So he should be able to show the bad people their bad ways and boom they are good now. Maybe that is really what hell is. That 30 seconds to show the bad people the bad ways from the other side of their bad ways. *shrug*
9. Do you celebrate Halloween? Why or why not?
Of course. What other time of the year can you let your real self out and nobody think any worse of you. :)
10. In your opinion, does Halloween stir the dead and wake them from their slumber? Do they rise to haunt on that evening? Why or why not?
I believe that it wakes the spirits of the dead. Not neccessarily the dead themselves. I don't know about rising to haunt though. It is just the time where both the afterlife and this life are in close connection.

3. What two types of food do you have a hard time staying away from?
I would say my wife's lasagna and fast food. :)

I don't really know. I am not fond of peas and I don't think I could ever eat sushi. But, other than that. I couldn't tell you. :)

I think that it could be a lot better. :)

We've been doing a lot of redecorating around our home lately and checking out some of the home decorating shows, I'd never really watched them before but have found a few kind of interesting so this week Home shows are in the spotlight!

1. Do you watch home shows regularly? If so, which ones?
Nope. Sure don't
2. Have you ever followed a tip that you learned from a home show or TV?
Not that I can remember
3. What is the best (worst,stupidest,coolest...) thing you've ever seen on a home show?
I have seen some stupid decorating ideas. *shrug* I think that is why I don't watch them. :)
~Bonus~ If your home had it's own show what would it be called? Why?
I don't have any idea. I am not very good. Something like My House, or Ron's Mess. *shrug*

The infamous "69" position... Do you like it, love it, or hate it? Is it twice the pleasure or just a distraction? Would you rather give then receive, or vice versa? Do you do it because you want things to be "equal." Have you tried it other than laying down?
I love it. :) It adds more pleasure for me. I don't know what the missus thinks though. I love to be on the giving end. I don't mind if I don't "get off" as long as the missus does. :) We have done one or the other in different positions, but not the "69" itself. We have done that in different lying down positions. Neither one of us is agile enough to hang upside down though. *cackle*

That guy that went skiing across the puddle in greatest sports bloopers. That was funny. It was like their opening shot for YEARS!!! :)

Soccer. I have played it for years and years, but never had the time to practice enough to become professional quality. I was still good enough to get a varsity letter in it all 4 years of high school. :)

Tuesday Twosome

What's in a name...

1. What is your middle name and what does it mean?
Charles. Although the name Charles creates the urge to be reliable and responsible, we emphasize that it frustrates you through a scattered and emotional nature. This name, when combined with the last name, can frustrate happiness, contentment, and success, as well as cause health weaknesses in the liver, bloodstream, and through worry and mental tension.
As Charles, you have a natural interest in the welfare of your fellow man, and a desire to help and serve others in a humanitarian way. You are responsible and generous, although somewhat scattering and disorganized at times. Any jobs requiring systematic and conscientious effort, or involving any form of drudgery, dismay you. In your work, you would seek a position offering self-expression through contact with people, such as sales or teaching, or a position giving scope to your creative, artistic talents. You are good-natured and likeable, and people tend to confide in you and seek your advice in personal problems. Others sense your sincere interest and desire to help, and you can always be counted on to see the bright side of any problem.

2. What are your favorite boy and girl names?
Michael and Margaret
3. What are your least favorite boy and girl names?
Tyrone and LuWanda
4. If you could change your name, what would it be and why did you choose that name?
Something common. I could never decide on a new name so I just stuck with this one. :)
5. What two nicknames are you most often called?
There are so many. Let me see. *sshole, jerk, freak, clown, cutey

She brought a smile to a lot of people's faces and made a gloomy ride on the subway to work seem that much more pleasent. But, I can't whistle, and my singing would make a cat cover its ears. So, I just smile. :)

Problems with...

1. A co-worker: Ignore it or confront him/her:
I usually ignore it. Tell my boss so that it won't actually hurt me. :) My boss thinks that I am the mascot since I have been there so long and have always been loud and obnoxious. :)
2. A retail purchase: Go back to store and try to fix it or It just isn't worth going back:

Ask for name and request to speak to their supervisor
4. Your health: Ignore it because the less you know the less you have to worry or call for an appointment immediately:
I ignore my health, but I would call and make an appointment for my wife immediately. Of course the same could be said for my wife. She would make me an appointment, but put off her own health. :)

TV Tuesday

1. On a whole do you feel most Special Reports are really that special? Or are they simply annoying?
simply annoying
2. What special report has effected you most? (IE: (9/11, Reagan being shot...etc)
I think 9/11
3. Do you stay tuned in for Special Reports or do you reach for the remote?
reach for the remote. Usually mute the tv for them. :)
~Bonus~ Not exactly a special report but more on special coverage. What are your thoughts on some of the "Special Coverage" spots that have hit TV lately? One that comes to mind for me is the 24 hour a day coverage of Ronald Reagan's body laying in state at the White House. Something we needed to see or just plain morbid?
I don't think that we need to see any of the Special Coverage things. It is just morbid. Or gross in some cases. Like all that stuff with the civilian companies and the interrogations. That was just gross.

Furry Friday

1: Do your pets act differently when you don't feel well? If so, how?
Oh yes. They are cuddle monsters. If they are in hell mode when you walk in, they stop playing and lay on you purring their tiny little butts off. :)
2: How do you comfort your pet when it doesn't feel well?
I hold it and pet it and make it as comfortable as possible. They usually end up with a new blanket which used to be one of my articles of clothes. You know the ones that the wife is trying to get rid of anyway, but she can't because she can't ever get you out of them. :)
3: What's the scariest health moment you've had with a pet?
I think it was the time that my wife's cat wasn't acting right. I had gone out for a walk with the dog and she came barrelling down the road with the car yelling at me to get in because Merlin wasn't acting right. He was unresponsive and had very shallow breathing when she left him to go get me. Very unusual for this cat because when he heard my wife's voice or even her step into the house, he was right there demanding her attention. He would push the dog out of the way to get to her. And, the dog was probably about 50-70 pounds. :)
Well, anyway, when we got back I went in to look at him. I prodded him in a couple places. He had a little bloody drainage. (Probably got too much tuna juice when we made tuna salad) The whole time I was prodding him, he had his eyes open in a sleepy glaze. Looking at me like what the hell are you doing I am trying to sleep here. Thos of you who own cats know this look. :)
So, I laid him back down to go talk with the missus about taking him to the vet, when he beat me out to the living room and was rubbing and purring and drooling all over my wife. (He was a Persian so when he got to purring to hard he would snot and drool) When I got into the room, he ignored me except for the occasional turning and GLARING at me. :)

The phone rings. You've got unexpected company coming over in an hour! Look around your house. Is it company-ready? What can you do in an hour to get it up to the level that would make you comfortable?

Cheddar X

1. If you had a choice of dinner with George W. Bush or John Kerry, which would it be, why and what would you serve?
John Kerry. Bush lied when he got elected last time. Why would I want to vote for a lier?? His words were, "I am not one of the good ole boys". I mean seriously how much more good ole boy is he??? He picked his DAD's cabinet. He won it by calling his BROTHER up and saying I need your state, make it happen. His DAD was the Head of the CIA, then Vice-President and then the President. Every job he ever got was because of his DAD's connections. And, most of them, including the presidency, he failed miserably at. I would be surprised if the race is even close. I mean the last time we had any problems with Iraq was when George Sr. was in office. Hello???? How much more good ole boy do you have to be to be considered a good ole boy???
2. What are your three major criteria for choosing who to vote for?
How hard I think they are going to work to improve our country, how hard are they going to work to improve the environment around OUR country, and what their beliefs are. I mean John Kerry is a Catholic that believes in a woman's right to choose. He is against anyone having an abortion for any reason, but he wants women to have that choice.
3. Do you plan to vote "for" someone or "against" someone?
I plan on voting against Bush, but if Kerry is the Democratic elect, I am voting for him. :)
4. What bothers you most about this presidential election?
It is not an actual vote of the people. The people put their ideas out there, but the electoral college can vote the exact opposite of what all their "constituents" want them to vote.
5. How much does a candidate's religious affiliation have to do with your decision to vote for him?
It doesn't really. The only reason I mentioned that Kerry was Catholic was to show that although he is part of one of the most staunch religions in the world. He can show how strong he is by saying that he is pro-choice. Did you know that there are a lot of priests out there that won't give him communion because he believes that a woman has a right to choose??? I mean seriously, bring back the Middle Ages where women are seen but not heard.
6. When do you think the first female president will be elected?
I think that if Hilary Clinton ran for office right now, she would be it.
7. Who, among prominent politicians, would you most like to see in the White House?
I would like Clinton back in. If not him then his wife, then John McCain. I actually want McCain in there before Kerry. :P
8. Who, among all people, would you like to see in the White House?
George Carlin. He may not get anything done, but it would be one heck of a ride. :)

Nope. Didn't get the channel with the John Wayne one. :)
2. Is there a show you'd like to see run an all day marathon? On the flipside is there a show you'd avoid in marathon?
Not really. Maybe Roseanne. I would avoid Green Acres. :)
3. Is there a show/movie/program that brings back special memories for you and what is it?
Nope. Not that I can think of.
~Bonus~ What show featuring those who protect your country (fiction or non-fiction) is your favorite?
Hogan's Heroes

1. When upset do you: scurry off to a corner to recover alone, growl at the hapless people who're silly enough to be near you, or continue as if nothing happened while burning up inside?
Usually continue as if nothing happened.
2. One of your best friends turns out to be saying hurtful and untrue things behind your back. You don't want to believe it - but it's true. Would you confront them, ignore them, or wail and scream privately but act as if nothing happened to their face ? (Or any other reactions)
I would like to think that I would confront them. I definitely wouldn't ignore them or wail and scream. What is the point of doing either of those. :)
3. When a situation arises where you're accused of being the party that's at fault, is your first reaction to: make an excuse to defend yourself, start analyzing your behavior to see if the accusation is true, or immediately accept that it must have been you?
I try to explain. I don't make up an excuse. I accept that I am at fault. I know that I am at fault a lot of the time, but don't get called on it.

Thursday Threesome

Onesome: Learning-- Hey, what would you like to learn how to do this Summer? Learn to ride a motorcycle (like Sarah)? Learn PHP? Learn how to chill out and vegetate properly (lessons available )?

Water Ski. :)

Twosome: to-- Too? Two? Okay, two things you are positively not going to learn how to do! Ever!
Sky Diving (I would like to learn but I have an inner ear thing that pops on air planes) and hunting

Threesome: Ride-- Speaking of motorcycles: Do you ride? Did you ever ride? ...or do you just enjoy them? ...or maybe, "No way!"?
I have ridden. I don't have access to a bike at the moment though. I would love to ride all summer long. :)

Trilogies

1) The Back to the Future Trilogy sent Marty McFly 30 years into the future, 30 years into the past (twice!) and 100 years into the past. Which of these time periods would you like to visit in your 1.21 gigawatt-powered DeLorean, and why?
100 years to the past. I just love the old west. :)
2) The Lord of the Rings Trilogy was, of course, based on a famous trio of novels by JRR Tolkien. What sci-fi/fantasy/genre novels or series would you like to see turned into a Peter-Jackson-directed/George-Lucas-written/Steven-Speilberg-produced trilogy?
I think I would like to see the Shannara series. :)
3) Next summer, there will be two complete Star Wars trilogies in the history books. What's your strangest or most interesting Star Wars experience?
Going to see Star Wars in the movie theatres for the first time. Seeing all those people looking like Darth Vader, waving their light sabers and mock fighting. *cackle*
Bonus) While the Jurassic Park and Indiana Jones movies are currently only trilogies, plans are in the works for a fourth movie in both series. What trilogy might've been better served with a fourth movie? Which trilogy would've been better if they had left it at only one movie?
I didn't like the second or third Jurrassic Park movies. I do think I would like to see a fourth Indiana Jones movie. :)

3x Thursday

1. What do you think about car companies using popular music (take Cadillac and them using Led Zepplin) in their commercials? Do you think it's right for them to take a well-known song and use it for their own profit?
I say why not. They pay for the music. It is not like the artist's record dealer isn't getting anything out of it. :P
2. What is the trend lately with electronica music (triphop and breakbeat type stuff) being in commercials? Do you recognize any of it? Does it bother you?
Been wondering how long it would take. I recognize some of it. No it doesn't bother me. I remember watching some movies in the early '80's about computers taking over people just to play music. :)
3. Depending on what the product is, do you think that companies use certain music to cater to certain age groups? Does it work? Is it morally correct? Why/Why not?
Of course they do. Yes. Sure. They pay for the music and people don't HAVE to buy their product. Of course I miss the commercials from the '80's. They all had little catchy tunes. :)

Bonus Question for Comments: For the music geeks out there: What's the meaning of this week's title for the 3x Thursday? (correct answers recieve brownies with icing)
I don't have a clue. :)

01. You are battery operated - what are you? What size batteries do you require and how many?
I am one of those Robots from the '80s. You know the ones that kind of walk, with the flashing eyes and cheesy sounds. I need to D batteries. :)
02. Ohmigosh! You're on the cover of the National Inquirer (or other trash magazine)! What is the headline? Give us an except for the inside story?

03. If you could be ANY sex symbol (living or dead) who would it be and why? What question do you think you'd most get asked?

Sorry the wind blowing through my ears is distracting me from this one. :)

Thursday Threesome

::Beginnings, Middles and Ends::

Onesome- Beginnings: Are there any television shows out there that you've watched regularly from the very beginning? Or for those of you not into TV, any book authors that you've read from the very beginning?
I can't think of any. But, I do like all of Roseanne. Even in re-runs. :)
Twosome- Middles: What about shows that you came into in the middle of the season but immediately grabbed your attention and turned you into a die-hard fan? Again, for non-TV fans, have you ever begun reading a series of books in the middle and then just had to read everything else in the series?
Judging Amy is really cool. I missed the season finale though. :(
Threesome- And Ends: Recently, a number of big name shows have ended, Friends, Fraiser, The Drew Carey Show, and the cult hit, Angel. Did you watch any of the big finales? Have you ever been really sad to see a show go? Ok, readers, here's one for you. Have you ever read the end of a book first? Why? ;)
I watched Friends finale. :) Oh, and Tool Time. At the time, I was sorry to see Tool Time go. But, I am not sure any more. I guess I have gotten over it. :)

When was your childhood over? Do you agree with the concept of adolescence, or did you go from being a child to being an adult?

Daily Dirt

1. What if a close friend liked you?
I hope that they like me. I wouldn't think that they would become a close friend if they didn't.
2. What if you liked her friend?
That would be normal wouldn't it?? Friends of friends are always cool to have. :)
3. What if she asked you out?
Can my wife come also??? :)
4. What if the friend that liked you started being hateful?
I would ask what was wrong. If they are being hateful towards me, there would have to be a reason or they wouldn't have been my friend to begin with. :)
5. Would it be worth it to lose a friend for a girlfriend?
It would just show how good of a friend they are. If you are going to lose them just because you are dating someone, shows that they either need to be more open with you, or they weren't a very good friend.

Wednesday Whatevers

1. Would you want an arranged marriage or choose your own? Why?
Choose your own. Arranged marriages, you have to learn to love someone. When you choose them, you should already be in love. :)
2. What would you sacrifice for someone else?
That depends on who it is. If it is my wife, then I would sacrifice everything. If it is someone else, it would depend on the circumstances. :)
3. Do you think God has a gender? If so, what is it?
Sort of. :) God is a female, but she has parts that can be male. I say God is female because I have yet to meet a man that would work non-stop for 6 days. And, create things??? Be serious.
